About the position

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer for a long-term contract with a direct client. This position will start remote, but we are ideally looking for someone who lives in South Florida, Atlanta, GA, and/or Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will join a high-performing Agile team working on a client-facing web portal application. The tech stack for this position includes Node.js, Angular, and MySQL. We are looking for candidates who have 2+ years of experience with Angular 2+ (with versions 8/9 being preferred) and recent hands-on experience with Node and MySQL. This role is crucial for the development and maintenance of the web portal, ensuring that it meets the needs of our clients and provides a seamless user experience. As part of the Agile team, you will collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives. Your contributions will directly impact the functionality and performance of the application, making it essential to have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client-facing web portal applications using Node.js, Angular, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with Agile team members to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure optimal application performance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Angular 2+ (versions 8/9 preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with additional front-end frameworks or libraries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
