About the position

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer for a long-term contract with a direct client. This position will start remote, but we are ideally looking for someone who lives in South Florida, Atlanta, GA, and/or Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will join a high-performing Agile team working on a client-facing web portal application. The tech stack includes Node.js, Angular, and MySQL. We are looking for candidates who have 2+ years of experience with Angular 2+ (with versions 8/9 being preferred) and recent hands-on experience with Node and MySQL. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of innovative web solutions that meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client-facing web portal applications using Node.js, Angular, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Angular 2+ (preferably versions 8/9).
• Recent hands-on experience with Node.js and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional front-end frameworks or libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
