About the position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Full-Stack Developer for a permanent, fully remote position with a fintech company based in Vancouver. The role involves working on a platform that integrates data analytics and ERP systems to provide innovative financial data solutions. The developer will be responsible for API development, feature enhancements, bug fixes, high-level architecture design, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs and integrate with existing systems.
• Introduce new features and fix bugs in the application.
• Contribute to high-level architecture design.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in their professional growth.

Requirements

• 3 - 5+ years of production experience in software development.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of API design and REST principles.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
