About the position

This position is for a full-time developer role focused on automating business processes and collaborating with a project manager. The role emphasizes a relaxed and modern work environment, encouraging contributions to team knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Manager to estimate, size, and scope work.
• Write tests and code to automate business processes, taking ownership of functionality from development through deployment.
• Contribute ideas, research, and knowledge to the team to enhance skills across all engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in PHP and/or JavaScript application development, or a bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or related engineering fields, or 1+ years experience in Golang or Scala.
• Ability to build web services to replace unified components of current applications.
• 3+ years experience using distributed code repositories (git, Mercurial) in a team environment.
• Demonstrate consistent prioritization and task escalation decisions.
• Ability to collaborate; must have a GitHub account or at least code samples to share.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL and Oracle database.
