About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled software engineer to join our team in a direct hire full-time position with a salary range of $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager to estimate, size, and scope various projects, ensuring that all tasks are well-defined and achievable within the set timelines. You will be responsible for writing tests and code to automate business processes, taking ownership of functionality from development through deployment. Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Manager to estimate, size, and scope work.
  • Write tests and code to automate business processes.
  • Take ownership of functionality from development through deployment.
  • Contribute ideas, research, and knowledge to the team to enhance skills.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in PHP and/or JavaScript application development, or a bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or related engineering fields, or 1+ years experience in Golang or Scala.
  • Ability to build web services to replace unified components of current application.
  • 3+ years experience using distributed code repositories (git, Mercurial) in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate consistent prioritization and task escalation decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively; must have a GitHub account or at least code samples to share.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SQL and Oracle database.
