About the position
Peraton is seeking a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join an agile software development team. This role involves software development and operational support, focusing on a React web application with a Java API backend. The developer will work in an AWS cloud environment and collaborate with both government and contractor developers to enhance and maintain the application, adhering to agile methodologies and scrum ceremonies.
Responsibilities
- Provide development and O&M support for a React web application with Java API backend server.
- Develop in AWS cloud environment using cutting-edge technology.
- Assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application.
- Gather, analyze, and develop enhancement specifications/requirements provided by the system owner.
- Support all aspects of the project throughout all phases of the life cycle development.
Requirements
- Strong User Interface (UI) development skills using React, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Development experience in Java, Spring Framework 5+, Spring Boot 2, Hibernate 5+, SQL/RDBMS, RESTful APIs, Maven build tool, and Git.
- Experience in AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch).
- Experience in full software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks/methodologies.
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and automation.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent documentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative to help the team grow.
- Active Top-Secret Clearance.
