About the position
The Full Stack Developer role at V-Soft Consulting involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining mobile application features and backend systems. The position requires extensive experience in full stack development, particularly with Java, Spring, Maven, and mobile technologies such as React Native, iOS, and Android. The developer will collaborate with various teams to contribute to the architecture and development of mobile applications, ensuring a strong focus on user experience and product design.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, testing, releasing, and maintaining mobile application features and backend systems.
- Contributing to the architecture and development of mobile application and web features.
- Interacting directly with peer developers, UX, Product Management, Design, QA, and other engineering groups.
- Using modern tools and technologies consistent with the technology stack: native mobile, React Native, Java, AWS.
- Articulating engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, security, and usability.
- Collaborating with the team to develop products that demonstrate exceptional user experience.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Full Stack Experience.
- Experience with Java/Spring/Maven and a strong understanding of object-oriented design.
- Solid technical communication skills with business partners and other engineering teams.
- Demonstrated experience taking initiative and practicing strong ownership.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira or ClearQuest.
- Experience in understanding different integration patterns and their usage during testing.
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, ideally AWS.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable in small and large groups and interacting with product teams, designers, other engineers, and management.
- Full stack development experience across the candidate's career, with experience in both frontend and backend, including mobile development.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to articulate engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, security, and usability.
- Experience with source control systems, including Git & GitHub.
- Familiarity with Agile software development.
- Experience in large enterprise and/or retail environments.
