About the position

The Full Stack Developer (React Native) position is focused on leading the development of new personalization features for Best Buy's mobile applications. The role emphasizes a human-centric approach to enhance customer experiences by utilizing product and customer data effectively. The developer will work closely with the Personalization Experiences team to ensure that personalized content is displayed appropriately on Best Buy's digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the React Native app for new personalization features.
• Collaborate with the Personalization Experiences team to understand customer needs and intents.
• Implement and manage personalized customer experiences on Best Buy DOTCOM and the App.
• Engage in pair programming for a few hours each day to enhance code quality and team collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in React Native app development for iOS and Android.
• 5+ years of experience in TypeScript development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript languages.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of functional programming.
• Familiarity with native build tools like XCode and Gradle.
• Experience with automated testing suites.
• Experience transitioning existing React web apps to React Native.
