About the position

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen, you will be responsible for creating end-to-end software solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role involves not just coding, but also mastering new tools and techniques to improve systems and help clients tackle their most challenging problems. You will ensure that the solutions developed align with current architecture and future enhancements, making a significant impact on the systems you work on.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready solutions.
  • Identify needed system improvements and implement them using the latest architectural approaches and technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members on software development projects used in production environments.
  • Ensure solutions consider current architecture and future functionality.
  • Utilize Agile methodology and extreme programming practices in development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Development.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and software engineering practices.
  • Experience working on at least one software development project with a user base of no less than 200 external users.
  • Proficiency in Visual Studios 2012.
  • Experience using MVVM or similar frameworks in production environments.
  • Experience developing applications that read and store data from databases.
  • Knowledge of threading techniques such as Async and Await.
  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree or 16+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Development in lieu of a degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal.
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master's degree.
