Full stack Developer

About the position

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with full stack capabilities to join our team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with a focus on both back-end and front-end technologies. This position offers a competitive starting compensation of $35/hour+, based on experience and skillset. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust applications using Java EE technologies, Spring Framework, and various front-end frameworks such as React or AngularJS. Additionally, experience with cloud-based development and DevOps practices is essential for this role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent experience/training.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and core coding concepts.
• Experience with Java EE technologies, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience in front-end development using React or AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML5.
• Familiarity with application and web servers such as IBM WebSphere and Apache Tomcat/tcServer.
• Experience with version control systems like Subversion (SVN) and Git.
• Knowledge of web services and APIs including WSDL, SOAP, JAX-WS, XML RPC, JAXB, and RESTful services.
• Experience with database technologies including Java Database Frameworks (Hibernate, JPA), Relational Databases (Oracle RDBMS, SQL Server), and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, CosmosDB).
• Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and IBM MQ.
• Proven experience in cloud-based development, preferably with Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
