About the position

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Newark. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model, allowing you to work remotely for 2-3 days a week while also being present in the office. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and enhance user experience. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in various programming languages and frameworks to build responsive and efficient applications. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to deployment and maintenance. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as experience with database management and API integration. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold our coding standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Implement back-end services and APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
