About the position
BigBear.ai is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a product team, focusing on both backend and frontend architectures. The role involves maintaining, debugging, and enhancing features of the production system while collaborating with other developers. The position requires adaptability to changes in technology and a commitment to continuous learning as the product evolves.
Responsibilities
- Develop both backend and frontend architectures of the product.
- Maintain, debug, and enhance features of the production system.
- Collaborate with fellow developers using Git for source control.
- Track bugs and features using Jira.
- Develop documentation on Confluence.
- Adapt to changes in technology and learn new skills as needed.
Requirements
- Must maintain a TS-SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
- Three years of demonstrated, practical experience in software development.
- Three years of experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
- Three years of experience with JavaScript and React.
- One year of experience with MaterialUI.
- Experience with Java Hibernate Object Relational Mapper.
- Experience with software testing, including unit testing and testing frameworks on both backend and frontend.
- AWS developer associate or higher certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in backlog management, including Epic, Feature, User Story development, and refinement.
- Experience with Confluence and Jira.
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 (M365) suite.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
