About the position

The Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack position at VORTO involves developing and maintaining sophisticated supply chain automation software and a unique trucking platform. The role requires deep understanding of the business to take ownership of features from conception to production, ensuring high-quality and efficient code is written while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deeply learn our business to successfully take ownership of features from idea to production
• Rapidly design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• Follow best practices to write high-quality, secure, maintainable, scalable, testable, and efficient code

Requirements

• Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience developing, implementing, and maintaining production codebases
• 2 years experience with Angular & Typescript
• 2 years experience with SQL
• Experience or desire to work with GoLang
• Desire to understand the business context for the solutions you are building
• Hold yourself and others to a high standard when working with production systems

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with GRPC
