In this role, you will engage in hands-on development work to achieve the objectives outlined by product and service owners. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and processing structured datasets for database insertion and GUI integration, as well as developing and refining quality assurance (QA) processes for databases and dataset releases. You will enhance and test graphical user interface (GUI) and search interface capabilities linked to datasets, ensuring that they meet the required standards and functionality. You will support the Health Data Standards Branch in promoting health data standards and terminologies, which is crucial for maintaining the integrity and usability of health data. Additionally, you will assist in the digital repository migration and data transformation for the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Digital Collections team. This will involve providing enhanced support for the development of USCD web resources and participating in the development, testing, and refinement of GUI enhancements and search interface capabilities tied to the underlying datasets. Your role will also include supporting the digital repository migration and data transformation of binary files, such as video, audio, images, and PDFs, along with their associated metadata to a system that is ready for content ingests. Collaboration with other NLM teams, including the Security Team and other contractors, will be essential to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and executed effectively.
