About the position
The Full Stack Developer position at Connect Talent Solutions involves developing application features using a variety of technologies including Angular, Java, and various database systems. The role requires designing, troubleshooting, and debugging software to meet user acceptance criteria while managing self-directed assignments. The developer will work under the supervision of a Project Manager and is expected to acquire knowledge of industry standards and tools to create business-focused software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop application features using Angular, Java, and MongoDB, Oracle or other relational and non-schema databases.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software within a project scope ensuring that work product meets end user acceptance criteria.
- Manage self-directed assignments to resolve software defects or implement features to meet schedule commitments with a high-level quality.
- Design large software components under the supervision of a Project Manager.
- Acquire knowledge of industry and company standards, tools and technology with a focus on pragmatic application to business-focused software solutions through initiative and self-study.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline or field and 5 years of IT experience.
- 3+ years of work experience developing in Java and J2EE (full stack).
- Experience in developing java web servers (SOAP or RESTFul) using the Open source frameworks, i.e., Axis, CXF, and JAX-WS.
- Experience in developing XML technologies, i.e., XML, XSD, XSL and JAXB, etc.
- Experience in developing Front end technologies such as Angular 2.0+, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, JSP and Struts 1.0/2.0.
- Experience with testing frameworks JUnit/TestNG.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, Kanban).
Nice-to-haves
- An active Secret Clearance.
- Experience using agile project management tools like JIRA or Rally.
- Experience developing in Cloud and DevOps environment.
- Ability to work under challenging deadlines and constraints to successfully deliver client solutions.
