About the position

As a Full Stack Developer at Occam Solutions, you will play a crucial role in modernizing software development for the Army by guiding development teams to adopt modern practices. This position involves hands-on implementation and code/design reviews, applying Lean, Agile, and DevSecOps methodologies to enhance software delivery speed, security, and stability. You will work in a collaborative, diverse team environment and have the opportunity to utilize various emerging technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assist development teams in aligning with modern software development practices.
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Implement software solutions using a variety of technologies and frameworks.
• Apply Lean, Agile, and DevSecOps practices to improve software delivery.
• Collaborate with team members in a highly diverse and mission-focused environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, NodeJS, Django, and Spring.
• 1+ years of experience with MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services.
• 1+ years of experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• 1+ years of experience with code versioning tools like Git and build tools such as Maven.
• 1+ years of experience with database technologies like MySQL, Mongo, or DynamoDB.
• 1+ years of experience in an agile development environment with automated CI/CD.
