We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a strong knowledge of PHP, Node.js, MVC frameworks, and Front-End frameworks. As a Full Stack Developer with Dealer Venom, you will help design, develop and manage user-centric products for our internal team, our clients, and external users. This role is crucial to releasing high-quality software and UI components to our existing products and new product development. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who has a strong desire to continually simplify and optimize the development experience and make an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Develop well-archetyped, responsive, and performant web apps.
- Understand and implement technologies across the full stack.
- Assist with general platform maintenance and development.
- Automate manual processes such as performance benchmarking, or docker deployments.
- Deploy, manage, and debug Docker containers on GKE.
- Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools, and technologies.
- Increase efficiency, and reduce waste wherever and whenever possible.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in web application development (PHP, TypeScript preferred).
- 4+ years of Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP&D), Object Relational Mapping (ORM) experience.
- 2+ years of experience in frontend development using tools such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud and its products.
- Proficiency with WordPress development.
- Technical experience with Linux, nginx, and memcached is a huge plus.
- Experience with Git as well as related tools (Sourcetree, GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Experience with project management/self-organization using Jira tools.
