About the position
Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract position in Charlotte, NC. The role involves collaborating with scrum teams and stakeholders to oversee code releases and improve application code quality. The developer will work on both frontend and backend technologies, ensuring high code quality and efficient deployment in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with scrum teams and stakeholders to oversee code releases and ensure smooth deployment in production environments.
- Writing and maintaining clean, efficient code by adhering to industry-accepted coding practices and design documents.
- Designing and developing UI components using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related frameworks like JQuery and Node/NPM.
- Building and maintaining backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Writing unit tests and integrating automated testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Jasmine to ensure high code quality.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system-wide issues in a collaborative team environment using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and SonarQube.
- Engaging in Agile Scrum Scaled Agile processes, managing and deploying services via platforms like Apache Tomcat and JFrog Artifactory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Typically requires 5-7 years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience with frontend technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks such as JQuery and Node/NPM.
- Proficiency in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture.
