About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Full Stack Developer Consultant to join our team. This is a 1099 contract position without benefits, expected to last at least 12 months with the opportunity to extend into a second year or convert to full-time. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of programming languages and technologies, with a strong focus on software development and application development. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our company's web applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and meet the highest standards of quality. You must have architect experience. In this position, you will design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing new features and functionality, as well as improving existing ones. You will write clean, readable, and well-documented code, following best practices and adhering to our coding standards. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and bugs in a timely and efficient manner will also be part of your duties. You will work closely with our DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of applications, and implement and maintain database structures using SQL, Oracle, and RBAC. Utilizing Agile methodologies, you will plan, track, and deliver projects on time. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development will be crucial, as you will apply this knowledge to improve our applications and processes. Participation in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of the codebase will also be expected. Additionally, you will work in an Azure-based environment, utilizing cloud technologies to develop scalable and secure applications.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on application development.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development principles.
  • Experience with RBAC and Azure, Oracle Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with C++ and software development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with code reviews and contributing to open-source projects.
