About the position

The Full Stack Developer will join the DevSecOps team at SigmaTech, Inc., focusing on delivering secure software solutions to the US Department of Defense. This role emphasizes collaboration between development, security, and operations to enhance software delivery processes. The position requires a blend of technical skills in both front-end and back-end development, with a commitment to best practices in software engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy highly scalable, available, and reliable cloud-native applications
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full stack software including .NET Core, C# APIs and React/Angular frontend clients
  • Integrate with and utilize GitLab for planning, tracking and coordinating work across the team
  • Develop and test cloud-native software components and applications using industry best practices
  • Work on agile engineering team writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design and development meets requirements

Requirements

  • BA/BS desired (Substitution of experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance
  • Experience building and delivering software systems to internal or external customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to accept new challenges, take ownership and be adaptable
  • Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements and describe technical designs
  • Knowledge of professional software development life cycle best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operations
  • Proficient in a broad range of data structures and algorithms, knowing when it is (and isn't) appropriate to use them

Benefits

  • Salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 based on experience and qualifications
