CGS is seeking an experienced, resourceful, and inventive Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. This role will perform software application development in support of an enterprise-wide data inventory effort. The Full Stack Developer will work across multiple teams to develop an integrated solution, contributing to government innovation through cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will be motivated, highly skilled, and creative, with a passion for developing content-rich web applications, APIs, services, and scripts. In this position, you will be responsible for performing software application development, developing software application tests and testing strategies, and scripting solutions to automate manual processes. You will also follow and instruct others on version control processes, develop solutions to strengthen the security in and around applications, and leverage application metrics to inform technical and business decisions. Additionally, you will analyze industry-specific requirements and technologies to provide insight. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 11 years of relevant experience. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement. The candidate should have experience working with Agile methodology and phase-based delivery methods, as well as familiarity with JavaScript libraries such as Angular, Node.js, and TypeORM. Ideally, candidates will also have an active DHS clearance, hands-on experience with both compiled and interpreted languages, and knowledge of how to deploy an application. Confidence in following testing, security, and configuration management best practices is essential, along with experience in front and backend software development and familiarity with Unix-based command line. An understanding of database structure and integration, as well as experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment strategies, is also important. High communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary for success in this role.
