About the position

The Mobile Platform team at Amazon is responsible for enhancing the One Medical mobile platform, focusing on app architecture, developer onboarding, and mobile app releases. As a full-stack engineer, you will work on bridging front-end mobile development and back-end services, contributing to projects that improve user experience and app functionality. The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and delivering high-quality code while addressing production issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between front-end mobile development and back-end services.
• Contribute to improving the app's offline experience.
• Define a pagination strategy for the app.
• Develop a cross-platform UI framework for feature ownership in the OM app.
• Collaborate with technical, clinical, and operational teams to deliver solutions.
• Ensure production issues are routed and resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with Ruby/Rails.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (React/Redux, Angular/NgRx, or other front end frameworks).
