About the position

The Full-Stack Engineer for the Amazon Health Mobile Platform will play a crucial role in enhancing the One Medical mobile platform by bridging the gap between front-end mobile development and back-end services. This position involves contributing to various projects aimed at improving user experience, app architecture, and ensuring timely resolution of production issues. The engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable and maintainable solutions that have a significant business impact.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between front-end mobile development and back-end services.
• Contribute to projects that improve the app's offline experience.
• Define a pagination strategy for the mobile app.
• Develop a cross-platform UI framework for feature ownership in the OM app.
• Ensure production issues are routed to the right teams and resolved promptly.
• Collaborate closely with technical, clinical, and operational teams to deliver solutions.
• Craft complete products by considering architecture, design, code, and testing.
• Maintain high standards in code quality and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with Ruby/Rails.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (React/Redux, Angular/NgRx, or other front end frameworks).
