About the position
The Full Stack Engineer - UI position is focused on designing and implementing web applications with a strong emphasis on user interface and user experience. The role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, particularly in building RESTful APIs and utilizing Java and open-source technologies. The candidate will work in a contract capacity, contributing to the development of scalable and secure applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement web applications with a focus on UI/UX.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, with GraphQL as a plus.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
- Ensure secure coding standards and practices are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance application functionality and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in web application development.
- Proven experience with Java and open-source stack technologies.
- Experience with JavaScript toolkits such as Node.js, Vue.js, or Angular 10+.
- Solid understanding of secure coding standards and practices.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AWS Identity and Access Management.
- Familiarity with Spark.
