About the position

Mastech Digital is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a contract position in the Financial Services domain. The role requires a professional with extensive experience in software development, particularly in Python and Java, to integrate new models and research into an enterprise-grade platform. Responsibilities

• Integrate new models and research into an enterprise-grade platform.
• Create a framework for delivering and monitoring models in a production setting with a DevOps organization.
• Provide operational support tools for monitoring model performance, versioning, and calibration.
• Implement user-friendly interfaces for real-time monitoring of P&L, order tracking, and portfolio performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development using Python/Java in Financial Markets (Front-office).
• Experience working on alternatives and derivatives.
• Highly skilled with Python (Design, Develop, Test, Debug, Deploy).
• Experience with UI development using Angular and RESTful APIs is a plus.
• Understanding of investment management processes, security analytics, investment workflow, or fund accounting.
• Working experience with derivatives including futures, forwards, and/or swaps is a plus.
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks (unit and integration).
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in Java is a plus.
• Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, Autosys, Airflow.
