About the position

Leidos Inc. is seeking a Full Stack/ETL Developer to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This position is critical in providing Agile DevOps support to mission-critical systems, ensuring that our intelligence customers have the right tools and technologies to address evolving threats. As a Full Stack/ETL Developer, you will leverage both standard and custom tools for Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, facilitating the movement of data between databases. Your role will involve developing custom code and scripts to efficiently extract, triage, and exploit data across various domains. You will serve as the Senior Software Developer within a team of ETL specialists, supporting enterprise requirements and providing feedback to enhance our systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing the data storage system for the enterprise and conducting thorough testing before deployment. You will analyze the enterprise's data objectives and design optimal ETL processes to meet those goals. Additionally, you will recommend methodologies to improve the visualization, organization, storage, and accessibility of large-scale data. Your responsibilities will also include providing scripting support to enhance dataset access solutions, leading meetings with the Project Management Office (PMO) and enterprise stakeholders, and serving as a functional lead for the ETL team. Responsibilities

• Design the data storage system for the enterprise and test it before it goes live.
• Analyze enterprise data objectives and design optimal ETL processes to support those goals.
• Recommend methodologies to optimize the visualization, organization, storage, and availability of large-scale data.
• Provide scripting support to enhance dataset access solutions.
• Hold meetings with PMO and enterprise stakeholders to discuss project requirements and updates.
• Serve as a functional lead for the ETL team, guiding and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience with data modeling.
• Ability to establish database designs in various forms, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Extensive experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, utilizing SQL queries.
• Extensive ETL/Data Integration experience using Pentaho, Shell Scripting, Python, Ruby on Rails, Elastic, and Neo4J.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph.
