About the position

CGI is looking to hire an experienced Full Stack Java / Angular developer with architecture capability to join our financial services team. The candidate must be located in Pittsburgh, PA with work done onsite at our client's office in Pittsburgh; however, a hybrid work environment is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Developing application code & unit tests in Java, Angular, and related technologies
• Leading and collaborating on efforts in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying software
• Communication with client stakeholders
• Ensuring that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
• Iterative feature development on an agile team
• Developing testable features with lean requirements and supervision
• Daily agile SCRUM participation
• Facilitation of end-to-end collaboration within the technical team, external partners, and business
• Software production deployment duties
• Architecture specification
• Mentorship of other on the team both onshore and offshore

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience as a Java / Angular developer
• Strong aptitude for learning on the fly, embracing new technologies, and willingness to make stretch goals
• Experience with Springboot and Microservices
• Experience with Microservices development
• Experience with software architecture design
• Strong experience of writing and maintaining unit tests
• Experience with GIT version control
• Experience with Jenkins and Pipelines
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
• Ability to collaborate with and lead others
• Ability to be a thought leader
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
