About the position

We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. This position is primarily focused on back-end development, specifically utilizing Java, Spring, Microservices, and API technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in core Java development and experience with building scalable applications. While the primary focus is on back-end development, familiarity with front-end technologies is considered a plus, although not mandatory. Additionally, experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices will be beneficial. The role involves working on various projects, some of which are hosted on AWS, making experience with cloud technologies a significant advantage. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and debugging applications, as well as participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end applications using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Design and implement Microservices architecture for scalable applications.
• Create and manage APIs for seamless integration with front-end components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Work with AWS services to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring framework and Microservices architecture.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices is advantageous.
