About the position

The Full Stack Java Developer position at Innova Solutions involves working as a key member of an agile team to design and deliver technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. The role focuses on executing software solutions, developing high-quality production code, and contributing to the continuous improvement of software applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding using Java, React, Spring Boot, Junit, Karma, Oracle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CICD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, web).
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Proficient in Core Java development skills as well as multiple design techniques.
• Working proficiency in Core Java development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages.
• Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development.
