About the position

The Full-stack Java Developer position at Matlen Silver involves developing and maintaining Java web applications, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions. The role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, including Java, Spring, Hibernate, and various web services. The developer will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to the design and integration of large-scale applications while adhering to Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java web applications using Spring and Hibernate.
• Work on large enterprise applications and integrations.
• Implement RESTful web services and handle JSON data.
• Perform batch processing and backend development, including SQL and performance tuning.
• Utilize Tomcat Apache Webserver and Linux environments.
• Manage databases using MongoDB and version control with GIT.
• Implement CI/CD practices using Jenkins and Docker.
• Conduct unit testing and automated testing using Junit and Cucumber.
• Participate in Agile development processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Java web application development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful web services and JSON.
• Background in batch processing and backend development with SQL.
• Familiarity with Tomcat Apache Webserver and Linux.
• Experience with MongoDB, GIT, Jenkins, BladeLogic, and Docker is a plus.
• Knowledge of unit testing and TDD practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Dojo framework.
