The Full-stack Java Developer position at Matlen Silver involves developing and maintaining Java web applications, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions. The role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, including Java, Spring, Hibernate, and various web services. The developer will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to the design and integration of large applications while ensuring performance and reliability through best practices in coding and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java web applications using Spring and Hibernate.
• Work with RESTful web services and JSON for microservices integration.
• Perform batch processing and backend development, including SQL and performance tuning.
• Utilize Tomcat Apache Webserver and Linux for application deployment.
• Implement unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Integrate front-end technologies such as Angular and React into applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Java web application development, particularly with Spring and Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of large enterprise applications and integrations.
• Experience with RESTful web services and JSON.
• Background in batch processing and backend development, including SQL and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Tomcat Apache Webserver and Linux environments.
• Experience with MongoDB, GIT, Jenkins, BladeLogic, and Docker is a plus.
• Knowledge of unit testing, TDD, and automated testing frameworks such as Junit and Cucumber.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks like Angular and React.
