About the position
The Full-stack Java Developer position at Matlen Silver involves developing and maintaining Java web applications, focusing on both front-end and back-end technologies. The role requires expertise in various frameworks and tools, with an emphasis on Agile methodologies and integration with large enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java web applications using Spring and Hibernate.
- Work with RESTful web services and JSON for microservices architecture.
- Perform batch processing and backend development, including SQL and performance tuning.
- Utilize Tomcat Apache Webserver and Linux for application deployment.
- Implement unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) using Junit and Cucumber.
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java Web Application Development, particularly with Spring and Hibernate.
- Strong knowledge of microservices and RESTful web services.
- Experience with batch processing, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Tomcat Apache Webserver and Linux environments.
- Experience with MongoDB, GIT, Jenkins, BladeLogic, and Docker is a plus.
- Knowledge of unit testing and automated testing frameworks, particularly Junit and Cucumber.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Dojo framework is preferred.
