About the position

The Full Stack Java Developer position is a remote role focused on designing and developing full-stack applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Node.js, along with strong front-end UI technology skills. This role also emphasizes data engineering and security practices, making it essential for candidates to have a solid understanding of various databases and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Implement front-end UI technologies including JavaScript, React, AngularJS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
• Build data platforms and work on data engineering tasks.
• Utilize messaging systems like Kafka for application integration.
• Manage and interact with databases such as Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, and Neo4J.
• Ensure security practices are followed in application development.
• Conduct unit and automation testing using tools like Jasmine, Protractor, and JUnit.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack application development using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Strong experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, React, AngularJS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
• Background in Data Engineering and building data platforms.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka.
• Experience with various databases including Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, and Neo4J.
• Solid understanding of security practices in software development.
• Experience in unit and automation testing with tools like Jasmine, Protractor, and JUnit.
