About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a contract position in the financial industry. The role involves developing and delivering complex software requirements to achieve business goals, ensuring that software meets both functional and non-functional requirements, and collaborating with teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
• Ensure software is developed to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team and business partners for successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Java application programming experience.
• 3+ years technology architecture experience.
• Excellent software design, build, test, and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and lead the team through delivery in a changing environment.
• Proven track record in project delivery in an Agile environment.
• Experience with performance tuning and database refactoring strategies.
• Excellent organization and team skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to achieve subject matter expertise quickly on new applications.
• Proven track record in Java, J2EE-Spring 5 (MVC/Batch), JSP, jQuery, Java scripting, Angular, React, NodeJS, Hibernate, WebLogic, performance tuning, ETL processes, and strong querying and PL/SQL experience in multiple database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server).

Nice-to-haves

• Hadoop, Exadata experience
• MicroStrategy/Tableau experience
