About the position

DatamanUSA is seeking a talented Full Stack Java Developer to work with a direct client in Helena, MT. This role involves both front-end and back-end development, requiring fluency in Java and strong web development skills. The developer will be responsible for designing modular systems and managing APIs, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and related technologies.
• Design and implement modular systems for various applications.
• Manage and develop APIs for seamless integration.
• Work with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Utilize Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks, particularly Apache Struts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success and adherence to timelines.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.

Requirements

• Fluency in Oracle SQL and experience with PL/SQL and conventional SQL.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive front-end web development skills, including knowledge of Jakarta Server Pages, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with MVC application frameworks, with experience in Struts being a significant advantage.
• Experience in designing full-stack, complex, modular systems.
• Knowledge of JobScheduler and its applications.
• Understanding of networking technologies (HTTP/S, SSL, etc.) for coding purposes.
• Extensive experience in API management and development.
• Competence in mobile programming, specifically native iOS development in Swift and Android development in Kotlin.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the FWP stack is preferred.
