About the position

HTC Global Services is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join their Supply Chain Sustainability IT team. This role focuses on identifying and implementing IT solutions to digitize and automate business processes, enhancing transparency and compliance within the supply chain. The ideal candidate will transition from a software engineering role to a technical leadership position, leading the development of requirements and collaborating with teams for implementation and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement IT solutions to digitize and automate business processes in the supply chain.
• Lead the development of requirements and collaborate with teams for implementation and delivery.
• Work with external partners and industry experts for complex integration of industry standards.
• Synthesize and visualize complex concepts into actionable plans for the team.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and fulfill different roles as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, business, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of full stack development experience using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and web application frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with modern databases (Relational and non-relational) such as SQL Server and Teradata.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based development and operations (Azure/AWS/GCP/PCF).
• 5+ years of experience with Agile project management software such as Jira or Rally.
• 5+ years of experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD tools and pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or Business Administration.
• Experience with Design Thinking tools such as Figma, InVision, Miro, Balsamiq.
• Proven ability to learn and become productive in new concepts quickly.
• Experience leading agile software development practices to solution delivery.
