About the position

The Full Stack Java Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React. This position requires a strong engineering mindset and proficiency in both backend and frontend technologies, along with experience in cloud services and Agile methodologies. The role is hybrid, requiring in-person collaboration three days a week and remote work for the remaining two days.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development
• Experience with JavaScript and React
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with SQL
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with at least one framework (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages besides Java
• Demonstrated understanding of business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of software
