About the position

HTC Global Services is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join the Supply Chain Sustainability IT team. This role focuses on identifying and implementing IT solutions to digitize and automate business processes, enhancing transparency and visibility in the multi-tier supply chain. The ideal candidate will transition from a software engineering role to a technical leadership position, leading the development of requirements and collaborating with teams for implementation and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement IT solutions to digitize and automate business processes in the supply chain.
• Lead the development of requirements and collaborate with teams for implementation and delivery.
• Enhance transparency and visibility in the extended multi-tier supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with legal and mandatory requirements in supply chain sustainability.
• Work with external partners and industry experts for complex integration of solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, business, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of full stack development experience using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and web application frameworks (JavaScript, REACT, Angular, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience with modern databases (SQL Server, Teradata, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based development and operations (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform/PCF).
• 5+ years of experience with Agile project management software (Jira or Rally).
• 5+ years of experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Terraform, etc.).
• Strong global business acumen in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, and Service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration.
• Experience with Design Thinking tools (Figma, InVision, Miro, etc.).
• Proven ability to learn new concepts quickly.
• Experience leading agile software development practices.
