About the position

As an experienced Java Developer at Deloitte, you will work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering client services through the Project Delivery Talent Model. This role emphasizes the development of applications and services that enhance client operations, particularly in the cloud engineering space. You will engage with various teams to optimize processes and implement best practices, all while maintaining a manageable travel requirement.

Responsibilities

• Create an app for client employees to manage configuration and metadata related to store and terminal setup.
• Build a service that receives EPT payment requests.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers and project team members, escalating issues as necessary.
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement and transformation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java backend services development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in UI technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with React technologies.
• 5+ years of experience building services that interact with Worldpay vendor endpoints for EBT payment processing.
• 5+ years of experience with Java Springboot (Reactive), Azure Cloud, K8, Harness, EventHub, and Cosmos.
• 5+ years of experience working with APIs and unit testing frameworks like Karma and Jasmine.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
