About the position

LCG is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to develop and enhance multiple applications in an enterprise environment. The role involves working with modern Java technologies to solve various challenges related to system interfaces, scalability, usability, and accessibility upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, coding, configuration, and unit testing.
• Work on problems in several areas, including modernization, system interfaces, scalability with load and capacity, usability and accessibility upgrades, and refactoring.
• Develop software using technologies such as Java, J2EE, Eclipse or NetBeans IDEs, JSP, SOA, XML Beans, Struts/Spring, Hibernate/ibatis, Maven/Ant, WebLogic, Apache Tomcat.
• Engage in day-to-day work with multi-tier web-based applications, user interfaces, and user interaction.
• Work hands-on with relational databases (Oracle) and REST/SOAP Services.
• Utilize XHTML, JSP, JSTL, with CSS styles applied.
• Contribute to and consume Open-Source projects.
• Utilize problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills to tackle complex issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software experience, both front and back end development experience.
• Bachelor degree in Web Design, IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining applications.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ability to be innovative with strong interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and organized in development and documentation.
• Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
