About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. The role involves analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise applications using Agile development methodologies. The developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Mule Soft and J2EE based Integration and API platforms. This includes identifying, analyzing, and developing integration flows using Mule Connectors, Design Center, and API Management. The developer will assist in web services development utilizing skills in SOAP, REST, and HTTP within a high stakes/high volume environment. Close collaboration with product partners is essential to onboard new functional requirements into the system. Additionally, the developer will assist with integration into the Mule Soft platform when necessary, set up CI/CD routines, and configure Mule Soft runtimes. Participation in code reviews and daily SCRUM meetings is expected, along with developing and supporting Java-based applications for CashPro Admin Projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop enterprise applications with Agile development methodology
• Design, build, and maintain Mule Soft and J2EE based Integration and API platforms
• Identify, analyze and develop Integration flows using Mule Connectors, Design Center and API Management
• Assist in web services development with associated skills using SOAP, REST and HTTP in a high stakes/high volume environment
• Work closely with product partners to onboard new functional requirements in the system
• Assist with the integration into Mule Soft platform when necessary, setup CI/CD routines, and configure Mule Soft runtimes
• Participate in code reviews and daily SCRUM
• Develop and support Java based application for CashPro Admin Projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related
• 10+ years of development experience in Java/J2EE
• 5+ years of work experience in an Agile environment
• Experience participating in daily agile routines and estimation of stories with minimal direction
• Expertise in complex SQL and query plans
• Experience with MarkLogic or other NoSQL Databases
• Knowledge of GIT Hub or similar environment

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with enterprise Dev/Ops and monitoring tools
