About the position

Girikon is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves developing web and enterprise-level applications using Java and various frameworks, with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in software development and will contribute to the design and implementation of applications, particularly in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Java Application Development, Object Oriented Concepts, Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and its implementation.
• Design and develop various web and enterprise-level applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC and JMS.
• Design User Interface (UI) web applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, AJAX, JSON, and MVC.
• Develop applications for Cloud platforms using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Microservices.
• Work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, VPC, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudFront, Lambda, Quick sight and DynamoDB.
• Build Docker Containers and work with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understand and implement Algorithms & Data Structures including Hash Maps, Bloom Filters, Self-balancing BST, Queues, Sorting, Path-search algorithms, and complexity analysis.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in various phases of software development life cycle including Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and Implementation.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent field with a good GPA.
• Hands-on experience in Spring, MyBatis/Hibernate.
• Proficiency with server-side language using Java.
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 6 & above, React and Amber.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Strong design skills with knowledge of design patterns & principles.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Atlassian business team software Jira, Confluence, etc.
