About the position

The Full Stack Java/J2EE Engineer with Azure is responsible for developing J2EE applications using Spring and Spring Boot within an Azure Cloud environment. This role requires a strong understanding of microservices architecture, CI/CD principles, and experience with various technologies including Kafka and Docker/Kubernetes. The engineer will work collaboratively in a multi-application team environment, ensuring compliance with client processes and contributing to Agile execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop J2EE applications using Spring and Spring Boot in an Azure Cloud environment.
• Implement microservices design principles and architecture.
• Utilize Kafka for messaging and data streaming.
• Conduct unit testing using Junit and Mockito.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Participate in Agile execution processes and collaborate with team members.
• Ensure compliance with processes set by clients.
• Contribute to a global delivery environment.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in Full Stack Java/J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience with microservices design principles and architecture.
• Proficient in Junit and unit testing principles.
• Good understanding of Docker/Kubernetes ecosystem and CI/CD principles.
• Experience in the Telecom domain is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative multi-application team environment.
• Experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
