About the position

Mangan, Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Mobile Software Developer to design, develop, implement, and support both frontend and backend software for operations management applications. This role involves working on mobile software and associated services to communicate and control various types of hardware, primarily in the oil and gas industry. The position is hybrid, with office locations in Sugar Land, TX, and Alpharetta, GA, and requires a commitment to agile methodologies and continuous learning in technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in design and development from conception to deployment to support.
  • Work with customers to identify needs that need to be integrated into new designs.
  • Collaborate with a team to meet deadlines and support existing customers.
  • Produce user documents, technical specifications, and any additional documentation needed to support the product.
  • Provide estimates for development time and track tasks within budget and time constraints.
  • Test own development and others to ensure a quality product.
  • Assist in the development of new services to communicate and control new types of hardware.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years' applicable work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years experience developing mobile applications using .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin.Forms.
  • Experience developing Windows services communicating with hardware via TCP/IP, Modbus, and OPC.
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (ASP.NET, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Telerik).
  • Familiarity with APIs and agile/DevOps processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL) and skills in DB schema design and SQL development, including T-SQL.
  • Experience with source control tools, such as GIT.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with desktop and/or web applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
  • Experience with industrial control systems and/or industrial network equipment.
  • Experience with oil and gas transportation terminals.
