About the position
Our client is seeking a well-qualified Full Stack .NET developer to design and build back-end services that support a portfolio of data-centric clinical and analytic applications. This role involves leveraging cloud computing, big data, and machine learning to develop resilient and scalable cloud-based micro-services that meet uptime and accuracy targets. The developer will collaborate closely with various teams to translate requirements into code and ensure effective communication throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and build back-end services for data-centric clinical and analytic applications.
- Develop applications leveraging cloud computing, big data, and machine learning.
- Ensure cloud-based micro-services adhere to uptime and accuracy targets.
- Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to develop applications.
- Translate requirements into code in collaboration with Product Owners and Managers.
- Participate in DevOps, Agile, continuous development, and integration frameworks.
- Program in high-level languages such as Go, Python, and Java.
- Work on deployment automation and configuration management using tools like ADO, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Maintain documentation of processes and source code.
- Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and customers.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React and React Native.
- Experience with programming languages including C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with .NET framework and infrastructure like FHIR.
- Experience in back-end development using REST API and Microservices.
- Knowledge of databases including MSSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, and MS-Access.
- Proficiency with tools like Azure Dev Ops, Visual Studio, SSMS, and SSIS.
- Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Epic (EHR System).
- Experience with JetBrains Suite.
- Familiarity with Tableau.
- Experience with Linux or Unix.
- Knowledge of Visio.
- Experience with Oracle and Postgres.
- Familiarity with Vue and Angular frameworks.
- Experience in creating pipelines in Azure DevOps and CI/CD procedures.
