About the position

The Full Stack .NET Developer will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of both new and existing software applications and processes. This role focuses on executing user stories in collaboration with the Product Owner and Business Analyst while adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The developer will primarily work within the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET web development, MS SQL Server Database development, and cloud-native development using .NET Core. The position is part of the Wealth Management Agile team and involves participation in Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications.
  • Design and normalize data sets including processes for data extraction and loading.
  • Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements, and maintain, test, and integrate application components.
  • Troubleshoot problems independently by investigating underlying issues.
  • Collaborate with other resources as needed to resolve problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical support for business-critical applications.
  • Document software and related systems.
  • Perform data analysis and create AD-HOC reporting.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with legacy .NET WebForms and the ability to help migrate to .NET Core.
  • Solid React experience.
  • Solid C# .NET development experience up to the latest .NET frameworks.
  • Understanding of complex stored procedures, ETL processes, SSRS, and reporting in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience working with big data technologies such as Azure Data Lake.
  • Release Management using Atlassian Jira/Bamboo and Jenkins.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with IBM Mainframe Transmission Jobs.
  • ETL design and development on IBM InfoSphere/DataStage.
