About the position

The Senior Software Engineer position at oneZero Financial Systems involves developing a modern Web UI for a new financial product line. The role requires full-stack experience, focusing on both frontend interface creation and backend server APIs, within a collaborative and high-standard development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Web User Interfaces across the oneZero product line.
• Collaborate with the design team and Lead UI developer to deliver compelling and polished UIs that update in real-time.
• Work closely with design, operations, and QA teams to refine UI designs and address implementation issues.
• Dive into the C# web server backend to connect APIs and data needed by the UI.

Requirements

• Demonstrable JavaScript and Web UI development industry experience.
• Experience developing dynamic JavaScript or TypeScript-driven UIs.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and LESS.
• Experience with C# and ASP.NET.
• Ability to work with minimal oversight while also taking direction when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality final products.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working on an institutional financial trading product.
• Familiarity with Kendo UI for jQuery and React.
• Competence in C++ or C#.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and equivalent authorization frameworks.
• Experience with REST API design.
• Skills in JavaScript profiling and optimization.
• Familiarity with SignalR/WebSockets.
• Understanding of visualization techniques for big data sets.
