About the position

The Full Stack Python / Typescript-React Developer role involves working on both backend and frontend development, with a balanced focus on Python for backend services and Typescript/React for frontend applications. The position requires strong AWS skills and an understanding of secure application development practices. This is a hybrid role, requiring four days in the office, and is intended to backfill an existing position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
• Create and manage frontend applications using Typescript and React.
• Utilize AWS services such as Gateway, Lambda, SNS, and EC2 for serverless architecture.
• Adhere to secure development lifecycle practices in application development.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with team members on projects.
• Build scalable services using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Implement modern REST web services and ensure efficient communication protocols.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in software development, particularly in full stack roles.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Strong skills in Typescript and React for frontend development.
• Experience with AWS services and serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of HTTP and TCP/IP protocols.
• Ability to mentor and work collaboratively with team members.
• Expertise in building scalable services with SOAP and REST.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
