About the position

The Full Stack Senior Manager will lead the Ground Systems team within Lockheed Martin's Combat Systems in Engineering and Technology. This role involves coordinating with various engineering disciplines and the Program Management Office to ensure program requirements and deliverables are met. The manager will oversee a team skilled in DevSecOps methodologies, focusing on operational best practices, automation technologies, and Agile development principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Program Management Office and Control Account Managers to meet program requirements and deliverables.
• Lead a team skilled in DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Strategically plan and drive automation technologies across the software development lifecycle.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for first line leaders in DevSecOps.
• Enhance and maintain telemetry for monitoring tool suites throughout code and infrastructure.
• Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessments.
• Contribute to or lead cost estimating efforts for proposals and contract growth.
• Employ Agile development principles in the design, development, documentation, and testing of logistics software products.
• Manage organizational breakdown structure, team impediments, and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related discipline.
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Managerial experience.

Nice-to-haves

• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) and programming languages (Java, C#, C++).
• Experience with automation tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Splunk).
• Experience leading large teams of engineers.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CDP, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with proposals and basis of estimates.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System.
