About the position

As a Full Stack Software DevOps Engineer at Raytheon, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on developing and maintaining signal processing applications for real-time operational environments. This role involves managing Kubernetes, designing cloud software products, and collaborating with engineers in an Agile setting to meet the unique needs of defense projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kubernetes.
• Design and integrate cloud software products into customer hosting environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 2 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience developing object-oriented software using Java.
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration design for scalability.
• Experience with Gitlab.
• Experience with implementations utilizing RabbitMQ and Celery.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
